Crystal Dreisbach is a solutionary whose life goal is to disrupt the status quo of our take-and-trash economy. She is Founder & CEO of nonprofit organization Don’t Waste Durham whose mission is to create solutions that prevent trash.
She invented and operates GreenToGo, a city-wide reusable takeout container and pizza box service for restaurants and grocery stores. Don’t Waste Durham’s Wash Hub helps corporations, event venues, and schools switch from diposable to reusable serveware. Their ReCirculation Project redefines infrastructure and supply chain logistics in the recycling industry to close the loop of material resources and manufacturing.
Crystal has a Master of Public Health degree from Tulane University. She’s a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, the mother of two young boys, and a long-distance runner.
